I have been going for a few years. It’s a great place to shoot, great store layout, well stocked with knowledgeable employees. Always friendly and courteous. I have taken one of their classes which I found to be informative and well run. My wife loves the boutique and it makes it nice for us to share the experience. I finally became a member which is a great value if you shoot more than 2x a month. I have never had to wait for a lane. Good prices on good ammo (they don’t sell junk). All around good vibe!

I love Buck and Does. They have the lowest prices on ammo right now and my membership is extremely affordable in comparison to other gun clubs in the greater San Antonio area. They also have very affordable gunsmithing and Zach their gunsmith always gets my firearms done and back to me quickly without any issues. They also have firearms experts managing the gunstore and behind the counter to get you all the info you need. Really great experience every time I go in.

Well I had been really looking forward to going to checkout Buck and Doe's for awhile. I walked in and was really impressed with the layout and happy they had more than just firearm related items because I had brought my wife in. We spent about 30 minutes browsing and not once did my wife or I ever get asked if we needed assistance or had questions about anything. That was really disappointing as they had a few things that I would have love to purchase. Oh well not my loss and it wasnt like they had a shortage of employees at the gun bar there was one employee maybe a manager that was talking to 3 other employees but I hovered around the area looking into the cases but still no one asked. Maybe I didn't look like the other customers in the store.

Very helpful staff. Ron instructed us thoroughly letting us test the chosen fire arm separately and even changed the requested for another weapon that we could both handle well. We had so much fun! Will return again to this location because the staff was very thorough!

My husband and I were looking for a place to learn about guns and Buck & Doe offered all kinds of classes. We took the First Shot class. I was really worried about doing something wrong and possibly hurting someone. After the class and firing range I felt confident on firing a gun. Now my husband and I go to there firing range and practice on our glock. No way I would’ve been able to safely handle without the class. If your looking to learn about gun safety, taking different style of classes, using their firing range (which is excellent) then Buck & Does is for you!!

After target practice, which by the way, is a first class facility, I was perusing the many goods offered at Buck and Does. I noticed that they had a full line of Costa sunglasses. I already have two pairs and had been wanting another pair in a different style and lens. The salesperson was super patient and knew the product line well. She helped me select just the right pair. On top of that, the price in my opinion, was less than what I had been paying over the years at a non-chain hunting specialty shop near Hill Country Galleria. They even let me pick out free sunglass keepers.

Buck & Doe’s is my favorite place to shop for gifts, especially for graduation. Buck & Doe’s is a Jon Hart retailer. Jon Hart gifts are beautiful, made right here in San Antonio, customized, and last a lifetime. There is a wide range of options to suit any budget. And if they don’t have a Jon Hart item in stock, they can order it.
Buck & Doe’s recently did Jon Hart pouches for senior gifts for a high school soccer team, and the players absolutely loved them!
In addition, the boutique has cute clothes, unique, fun housewares (like Mud Pie), purses/leather goods, jewelry, etc. I bought a cute Mud Pie queso bowl/spoon set for a white elephant, and it was the most coveted gift.
On top of all that, the service is very friendly, and they will gift bag your items.
On the other side of the store, there are guns, ammunition, archery equipment, coolers, insulated cups, and more.
