I had the pleasure of working with Tara, who was just an absolute doll! She was knowledgeable about each dress she pulled for me (designer, available colors, price point considerations, etc.) and was so kind and bubbly. She made it an incredible experience. Lotus Bridal in Mineola was my first (& my last - I said “yes to the dress” YAY!!!) wedding dress appointment. This store was recommended to me by my two future sister-in-laws and rightfully so! My consultant Brooke was super sweet, accommodating, patient and a great listener. Brooke respected my budget but also let me have some fun trying on a variety of dresses and I really trusted her expertise. Ultimately, when I put “the” dress back on at the end of the appointment but this time with a veil, my mom & I became emotional and everything felt right. That’s when I knew it was the dress for me and I couldn’t be more ecstatic! I highly recommend any bride-to-be to stop by Lotus - you won’t regret it.

Our appointment was at 2 pm, and she took no time in getting us into our own private dressing area with ample space, and seating. It was well lit and spacious. We discussed some of the gown options that I selected in my look book. (Preface, this was my first appointment and I was completely unsure of the style, details, silhouette that I wanted but Brooke was an absolute pleasure to work with to help me find my dream gown.)

I must say that I tried on at least 10 gowns, each getting better with the critique that improved with the next gown. Brooke was patient with myself and my entourage that had many different opinions. With each new gown, she upped the ante and topped herself each time. Her expertise is unmatched and without her help, I would not have been able to find my dream gown.

On my last gown, as I was stepping down from the pedestal, I saw Brooke walk past with another gown that was THE dress. It coincidentally was the gown that was for her next appointment. Mind the fact that we are on the cusp of being over on time for my appointment, Brooke graciously helped me into the final gown, added the veil and bouquet and its safe to say the waterworks were flowing.

If you want the expert touch on professionalism for this part of your bridal journey, I would recommend Brooke a thousand times over. She was patient, provided good feedback, listened to my needs and matched them perfectly with each pick. You will not regret working with her!

Lexi literally turned my whole day around and I couldn’t imagine this experience without her. Some would say it was fate🥹. Could not pass up the opportunity to write about the amazing experience I had with Lexi at Lotus Bridal! I made appointments at many different shops, and working with Lexi at Lotus was my best experience by a mile. As soon as met her, I knew I would get my dress with her. She made me feel comfortable immediately and I felt like we had been friends for years. She really listened to my wants, needs, and vision while also offering her expertise and amazing eye for detail. When they got a new dress in at my second appointment, she was so excited to describe it to me and was just as invested, and excited as me when I said yes to that dress! I just said YES to my dream dress at Lotus Bridal, with the MOST amazing help from consultant Tara and Manager Bobbi. I originally went in looking to custom order a gown I had tried on elsewhere but wasn't sure of. Tara asked me all of the right questions to really get a feel for what I was looking for and ultimately pulled the dress that was TOTALLY me. From the second I put it on, I knew that was my dress, and it was truly to the credit of Tara and Bobbi. Besides that, they were so patient and not pushy when my mom and I explained that we were going to come back to purchase the dress since my grandma really wanted to be there to help pick out a gown. On our follow-up appointment, Tara was amazing in helping pick different veils to go with my gown and was totally not pushy about purchasing it right then and there which I totally appreciated since there were SO many options! In addition, Tara was SO thorough in explaining the entire process with ordering, alterations etc. and was so patient with us with our 700 questions we asked. Overall, would HIGHLY recommend Tara (and Bobbi) at Lotus for your bridal shopping experience.
