Really great surf school. I learned an incredible amount and had a great time. The price-performance ratio is very good.
+Accommodation:
There is a surf hostel, as well as a complex with villas - I tried both accommodations and liked both very much. Very clean (in the hostel a cleaning lady comes every few days) and well maintained. In the villa complex there is a large outdoor area for all villas together with barbecue and pool.
The kitchen and common room in the hostel are well equipped and large. The rooms are very big!!! (I do not know so from other hostels) with partly single and partly bunk beds, large wardrobes, a large bathroom and a door into the garden where you can also hang your surf stuff. Everything is made with great attention to detail and seems new and well maintained (eg curtains, dishes, furniture). The location is very central but still quiet. The owner Joachim is very nice and always tries to find the best solution and helps with everything. The people were all in a good mood, the staff is super nice.
+Surf course:
I went with the intermediate group. You always go where the best waves are.The equipment is good, well maintained and everything there is very well organized. Every now and then pictures are taken and then there is a photo analysis which is very instructive. The surf instructors are very nice. Especially David is a very very good surf instructor who is very patient, knows a lot, can explain everything in 100 different ways until you implement it. He is always in a good mood and motivates incredibly with his friendly nature. You can tell how much he enjoys his work. With him I had fun surfing and at the same time I could really improve.
Outside of the course times, you can take surfing equipment for free. I don't know this from other surf schools and I really liked it! So you can also practice a bit by yourself.

I can recommend the Sunwave surf school and its accommodations and will definitely come back. See you soon! 🙂

I stayed at the Sunwave Camp at Casa Marco for a week and had super fun surfing experience! Laia is amazing person, super friendly and helpful. She has organized really fun events after surfing.
There are 3 Surf instructors and they are all great. Good thing about it you can learn different things from them and each one of them have great tips for you, this way you can improve your surfing much faster. Skino is a great surf teacher and super funny person, it was always motivating to surf with him and had always great tips about how to improve my surfing.
We visited different locations for surfing depending on the conditions, some I liked more some less but everyday they will take you to good waves 🌊 so let’s catch them🤙🏽
There are lots of events organized for those who really want to party but you also find peace at the camp if you just want to chill, read a book or enjoy the beach after surfing. Camp is very close to the beach (resort not that much but also not too far).
If I have to add a negative comment, it could be the beds, although they are not super comfortable but after an exhausting and fun surfing session you will sleep like a baby 🤙🏽

Went there for 4 days, 3 nights. 3 intermediate surf lessons. The accomodation was good although the mattress was absolutely terrible, had back pain.
The house was nice.
Laia, the hostel hostess is really nice and professional, helps you with everything you need. 10/10 for her,

Negatives:

Too expensive. 300 euros for regular accomodation and 3 lessons. And I didnt learn anything about surfing. Im an intermediate surfer and the teachers didnt do any correction or gave any advice. Actually there wasn't any lesson at all. It seemed as I went surfing with a bunch of amigos and no teacher and that i only rented surf material. So not recommended for surfers who want to improve their surfing.

The teacher, Skino, is a really cool guy but doesn't fit the teacher role. He is more worried to catch his own waves than giving any lessons. Since we were aware that we weren't going to learn anything, we kindly asked him to reccomend us another surf spot so we could go on our own. He wouldn't tell us and be kind of unreceptive (not to tell sort of agressive). He told us that there is a lot of localism and we could only go with someone like him (even if he is italian and being there for only 8 months, he is a local already).

I wouldnt recommend this surfcamp for someone who wants to improve. My trip was saved by the other hosts but it had nothing to do with the effort of the hostel itself.

(Comments on their response)

Ive surfed all around the World and know my límits. I was rusty I know. I wouldnt go in the waves if i wouldnt be safe, rule number one. There were waves on other beaches as i realized later. So I guess you Just want the bussiness, not spreading surf, and Im ok with that, its normal, after all you run a bussiness.

Secondly. The instructor wouldnt even tell me how to correct my mistakes and make it more enjoyable. You are a surf school and i payed for that. Luckily I had my good waves the first day. All my effort, none of yours, and made my trip worthy.

Its interesting how you seem to know everything about the sport and call me what you want and seem to feel entitled to. So unprofesional from you. Chill out, Just a bad review, its not the end, Just giving my opinión so you can be better next time! Not coming back of course.

Great, lovely people and excellent teaching.
When I was in Fuerteventura I never miss the chance to stay with people in the camp and to book lessons here. The whole team is really kind and helpful and I always leave the water with a big smile on my face and individual instructions to improve my surf skills.
Thanks to all professional staff Laia, Skino, Maxime and Joao for the awesome experience and hopefully see you very soon again!! 😉

The instructors Skino and Viktor are the best part of this surf camp, totally. Are super funny, friendly and are always present, also for night club time. Love this two guys. Caroline also is a perfect mate and it's very competent to organize everything for the camp. I don't love the Marco's house where I slept because is not organized, need a lot of things for guest. I do 4 stars for that reason.

Equipment is not as promised, mostly very used.
No photographer included as promised ( the photos cost 1€ per pic)
You don’t have any surf sports nearby where u can just walk after lessons as promised.
If u borrow a board they will give u the worst board.
When u live in the resort the rooftop is also shard again not as they promise on their page.
There is also a BBQ spot but the surf camp doesn’t organize it...
Mostly the organization time to go to the spot, put the wetsuit on, wait for everyone and carry the board to the water takes up to two hours. So more or less you will have 2 hours of quality time surfing.
But as the instructor does not tell you any rules often people steal your waves which could be prevented by talking about the normal surfing rules.
Well all over the resort was clean and the instructors were not rude or anything they were nice :)!

This surfcamp was totally that I expected. The house is so cool and the enviroment was great. I came alone and I met to increible people here. The surf lessons were amazing and I improved so much my level with the best teachers Victor and Skino. Caroline is an amazing girl who helped me a lot to manage any kind of problem or suggestion.

For me, the best surfcamp in Fuerteventura. I hope to return one day.
